Two weeks before the entry into force of the new PAC 2023-2027, the changes that this new reform will generate are still a cause of uncertainty among farmers and ranchers. To analyze all the challenges that olive growers will face in this new framework, ASAJA-Sevilla held a specific day this week in Estepa where special emphasis was placed on the implementation of eco-regimes, one of the main novelties of the new CAP that will have a great impact on the cultivation of olive groves, a crop that exceeds 1.6 million hectares in Andalusia, of which 700,000 may lose more than 25% of their current aid due to environmental requirements.
