EU authorities are convinced that there are sufficient safeguards for the common market, including the agricultural sector. However, farmers themselves express significant doubts, fearing another wave of Ukrainian agricultural products, produced more cheaply due to lower production costs and without adhering to strict EU requirements. The European Commission, responsible for the agreement, is supposed to guard against the violation of new trade rules with the war-torn country.
