The EU summed up the results of wheat exports in the season 2022/2023

Last season, which ended on June 30, EU countries exported 31.1 million tons of soft wheat, which is 12% more than in the 2021/2022 season. This is reported by the Grain On-Line agency with reference to the European Commission. Export of durum wheat fell to 742 thousand tons (-24% compared to the previous season). The indicator of export of baking flour also decreased - up to 482 thousand tons in grain equivalent (-11%). Soft wheat of European origin was supplied to Morocco (4.7 million tons), Algeria (4.1 million tons), Nigeria (2.8 million tons), Egypt (1.8 million tons), Saudi Arabia (1.7 million tons ) and other countries. The main buyers of durum wheat were Tunisia (160 thousand tons), the United Arab Emirates (90 thousand tons), Tanzania (89 thousand tons), Israel (62 thousand tons) and Algeria (60 thousand tons).
