The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has announced the tariff quotas for the import of certain meats and whey in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) for 2025. The quotas for Kazakhstan and Russia are in line with their protocols on the accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), while those for Armenia, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan are set at volumes no greater than the difference between their consumption and production, taking into account party requests. The tariff quotas for cattle meat, pork, poultry meat, and by-products have also been specified, with Russia having the highest quotas. Additionally, the import of whey has been allocated a quota of 0.7 tons for Armenia and 15 tons for Russia.
