The Eurasian Economic Commission Council has provided a tariff concession in the form of exemption from import customs duty on certain types of beef imported into the Eurasian Economic Union in 2026, according to the official website eec.eaeunion.org. This refers to the possibility of importing the goods in the following volumes: • for Armenia — up to 7.5 thousand tons; • for Belarus — up to 7.5 thousand tons; • for Kazakhstan — up to 5 thousand tons; • for Kyrgyzstan — up to 5 thousand tons; • for Russia — up to 100 thousand tons. "The adopted measure of customs and tariff regulation is a balanced decision that, due to its targeted nature, which involves confirming the destination, will support the meat processing industry.
