The European CHOICE project continues its journey in Spain to promote the adoption of sustainable practices in olive groves and livestock farming

A workshop is held in Osuna with the participation of more than twenty involved agents and stakeholders The European project CHOICE (GA 101081617), which works to increase the adoption of sustainable practices throughout the entire value chain, has held a co-creation workshop (Participatory Lab) at the School of Social Economy in Osuna (Seville) as the starting signal for the pilot in Spain. This initiative, financed by the European Union within the Horizon Europe framework, brings together sixteen partners from five European countries, Colombia and South Africa. The pilot in Spain, led by Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de Andalucía, will have the participation of more than 200 Andalusian farmers and ranchers, who will be involved in the project by implementing practices to improve their production processes and thus create favourable environments, which allow a reduction in the negative environmental impact and an increase in sustainability.
