Myclobutanil was first included in the European Union's list of approved pesticides on December 1, 2005, with the original approval period ending on November 30, 2015. According to the European Union Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009, the substance entered the re-evaluation process. To successfully complete the scientific assessment, the EU extended its validity period to May 31, 2026, through Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/99, and finally completed the entire renewal process in 2025, demonstrating the EU's combination of scientific rigor and procedural flexibility in the evaluation of active substances.
