The 2024 Taipei International Food Exhibition - Taiwan Pavilion has opened, with the Ministry of Agriculture promoting the export of Taiwanese red meat and red dragon fruit to Japan. After eight years of negotiations, Japan has agreed to import these products, with the first shipment expected on July 2. The Ministry is also seeking to include Jinhuang mangoes in these exports. The event, which runs until the 29th, has 92 exhibitors and will be integrated with the "Taiwan Agricultural Products Carnival E-commerce Platform," offering a month-long special offer for domestic customers to purchase Taiwanese agricultural products online. The Ministry is also engaging in food education collaborations with the Japan Kids Kitchen Association.
