A flight carrying 2.5 tons of fresh coho salmon from Chile landed in Chengdu, China, following an agreement reached during President Boric's visit to China in October. The sales manager of Eastern Air Logistics stated that a third of the salmon will be consumed in Chengdu, with the rest being sold in other cities. Additionally, there is potential for the import of more varieties of Chilean seafood such as razor clams in the near future.
