The agricultural enterprise "Pershe Travnya" from the Kherson region became the first farm in Ukraine to receive state compensation for the humanitarian demining of agricultural lands conducted before 2024. This became possible after more than two years of work on coordinating documents and fighting bureaucratic obstacles. Throughout this time, the agricultural enterprise benefited from legal consultations provided by experts from the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council (VAU). As is known, on March 16, 2024, the Procedure for the Use of Budget Funds came into effect, which provided compensation only for those agricultural producers who planned humanitarian demining. Those who had cleared the fields earlier—since the beginning of the full-scale invasion—were deprived of the opportunity to receive reimbursement.
