Last week, the first batch of Polish peaches appeared on the wholesale market in Bronisze, surprising buyers with their early availability. A fruit farmer from the Grójec basin delivered several hundred kilograms of the Maycrest variety, which is an early breed with non-cracking seeds. While the domestic peaches were priced at PLN 5.00/kg, there was competition from high-quality imported peaches from the south of the continent, which were priced between PLN 5.00 and PLN 9.00/kg.
