A large greenhouse complex is under construction in the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan, in partnership with a Russian company. The project, spread over 500 hectares, is expected to cost 524 billion tenge. It is set to be completed in two stages, with the first stage expected to be finished in Q2 2025. The facility is projected to cultivate up to 27,000 tons of vegetables per year, including 12 varieties of tomatoes. The project is expected to create 1,000 jobs.
