According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, as of June 26, in Ukraine, 188.1 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops have been harvested from 74.3 thousand hectares with an average yield of 2.53 tons/ha, whereas last year on June 27, 721.4 thousand tons were threshed from 209.8 thousand hectares with a yield of 3.44 tons/ha.
Currently harvested:
barley – 151.6 thousand tons from 55.4 thousand hectares with a yield of 2.74 tons/ha,
wheat – 22.4 thousand tons from 10.5 thousand hectares with a yield of 2.13 tons/ha,
peas – 14.2 thousand tons from 8.4 thousand hectares with a yield of 1.69 tons/ha.
Harvesting is already underway in four regions, whereas last year at this time the harvest was being collected in 6 regions.
In France last week, winter wheat and spring barley harvesting began, and winter barley harvesting was significantly intensified. According to the state agency FranceAgriMer, as of June 23, winter wheat was harvested on 1% of areas (1% on average over 5 years on this date), spring barley – on 1% (1%), durum wheat – on 4% (%) of areas, winter barley – on 22% (13%), of which 21% was in the past week.
