INTERFAX.RU - The Fish Union, which unites Russian fisheries production and processing enterprises, has proposed zeroing out or reducing import duties on some types of fish for the production of popular fish products. “If we talk about measures to increase the economic accessibility of fish products in the context of regulating foreign economic activity, we consider it necessary to discuss the issue of waiving import customs duties on fish raw materials for the production of fish products that are most in demand by the population. Their zeroing or reduction would allow us to reduce prices for mass-produced products demand,” said the chairman of the union, Alexander Panin, through the press service.
