Guizhou Province in China has seen a remarkable increase in fruit output, with a 187.1% rise since 2015, making it the seventh largest fruit-growing region in the country. In 2020, the province's garden fruit orchard area reached 9.854 million mu, with a production of 5.2127 million tons and a value of 30.038 billion yuan, experiencing year-on-year growth of 17.27%, 17.94%, and 26.98% respectively. This growth is attributed to the development of dominant tree species, advancements in standards and brands, technological support, and the creation of more sales channels. Despite the challenges posed by the new crown pneumonia epidemic, Guizhou has implemented measures to mitigate its impact and expand online and offline sales channels, including the establishment of consumer poverty alleviation stores and sales areas in supermarkets. Financial innovation and the collaboration between agricultural banks and enterprises have also played a role in strengthening the endogenous driving force of the fruit industry's development.
