The French produce slightly more strawberries

More favorable weather in June has benefited production. This is especially true for the southwest of the country, where most strawberries are grown. Production in that area is increasing by 3 percent compared to last year. In the southeast of France, production is slightly lower. The higher production in the south-west of France is even more striking when looking at the cultivation area.
