The General Administration of Customs has updated their list of fresh fruit types and exporting countries accessible to China, adding Spanish persimmons and French kiwi berries. Spain is the world's largest exporter of persimmons, with an annual export volume of about 210,000 tons. French kiwi berries, also known as Soft Date Kiwi, originate from China and France is the first country allowed to export them to China, following phytosanitary requirements.
