December quotations for soft red winter wheat on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) rose to $183.81 per ton, December futures for hard red winter wheat on the Kansas City Board of Trade (KCBT) rose to $179.49 per ton, and December futures for hard red spring wheat on the Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX) rose to $203.37 per ton. December futures for SRW in Chicago closed at $5.00-1/4, increasing by 3 ½ cents, March futures closed at $5.16-3/4, increasing by 3 ½ cents. December futures for HRW in Kansas City closed at $4.88-1/2, increasing by 7 ¼ cents, March futures closed at $5.09-1/4, increasing by 6 ¾ cents.
