The Government of Argentina distributed the Hilton quota 2023-24

(NAP) The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of Argentina distributed 28,293 tons of chilled boneless beef cuts from the hindquarters of beef corresponding to the so-called Hilton Quota, to be exported to the European Union in the period between 1st July 2023 and June 30, 2024, with tariff benefits. Of that total, almost 1,096 tons will make up the Free Availability Fund, according to Resolution 306/2023, published this Monday in the Official Gazette. Through this measure, the registration of firms authorized to export 111 tons within the tariff quota opened by the United Kingdom for the same period was also approved. The Resolution pointed out that, for the industry category, 36 refrigerators were selected, among whom 25,328.536 tons were distributed: Swift was the main beneficiary, with 2,606.26, followed by Quickfood, with 2,317,816, and Gorina, with 1,805.
