Through decree 877/2025 published today in the Official Bulletin, the government formalized the decision to reduce the export duties paid on grains. Announced unexpectedly at the beginning of this week, the measure involves a decrease of between 1 and 2 points for the different complexes. In this way, soybeans will go from being taxed at 26% to 24%, while its by-products will be reduced from 24.5% to 22.5%. Wheat and barley will go from being taxed at 9.5% to 7.5%; corn and sorghum from 9.5% to 8.5%; and sunflower from 5.5% to 4.5%.
