Under Title XI, the labor modernization project sent by President Javier Milei to Congress, with the aim of being approved in the coming weeks, incorporates a series of modifications to the Agrarian Labor Regime instituted by Law 26.727, which regulates labor relations in the agricultural sector. Initially, the regulation replaces article 12 of that law, to frame the situation of the so-called crews or contractor companies. “The workers will be considered direct employees of those who register the employment relationship, without prejudice to having been hired with a view to using their service or to providing them to third-party companies.
