INTERFAX.RU - The State Grain Board of Turkey (TMO) has resumed purchases of Russian wheat, which were interrupted since February 2023, reported the Telegram channel of the Union of Grain Exporters and Producers, citing a notification sent by TMO to traders. TMO purchased 300 thousand tons of wheat from the "United Grain Company." The purchase price was not disclosed, only that it was conducted on C&F terms. This is the first purchase of wheat since February 2023. The wheat crop in Turkey for the 2025/26 season fell to 17.9 million tons after 19 million tons the previous season and a record 21 million tons in the 2023/24 season.
