In Russia, over 135 million tons of grain in bunker weight have been harvested—nearly 9 million tons more than the previous year, and the harvesting campaign is nearing completion, the Ministry of Agriculture reported. This includes 93.5 million tons of wheat—7.8% higher than last year, and 20.5 million tons of barley (plus 15.4%). The harvesting of corn, rice, and buckwheat is also in full swing. Grains and legumes have been harvested on an area of approximately 42.5 million hectares, or 93% of the sown area.
