The vegetable and potato harvest in Poland was 3% and 7% smaller, respectively, this year compared to last year, with decreased productivity of 4%. The total production of field vegetables was estimated at more than 3.8 million tons, 3% less than last year, with cabbage, onion, carrot, and cucumber production decreasing by 2% to 9%, while beet and sweet corn production increased by 7% and 16% respectively, and tomato production remained at the same level as last year. Pumpkins and zucchini production decreased by approximately 7% to 405 thousand tons.
