In the first five months of 2024, Ukraine's imports of lard, pork fat, and poultry fat decreased by 42% compared to the same period in 2023, totaling 5.8 thousand tons. The monetary value of these imports also dropped by 27.4% to $7.7 million. Poland, Spain, and Germany were the primary suppliers, accounting for 46.2%, 22.8%, and 13.7% of the imports, respectively. The price of lard remained stable during this period.
