The joint Argentine-Uruguayan campaign for Northern anchovy cash has ended

Last Sunday, October 31, the BIP Víctor Angelescu of the National Institute for Fisheries Research and Development (INIDEP) returned to Mar del Plata, after having completed the joint Argentine-Uruguayan evaluation campaign of the northern stock of anchovy (Engraulis anchoita), in the area between 34 ° - 41 ° 45 'S. The cruise was funded by the Joint Technical Commission of the Maritime Front (CTMFM). In 24 days of work, the INIDEP researchers, together with the researcher Ernesto Chiesa of the National Directorate of Aquatic Resources of Uruguay (DINARA) of Uruguay and the crew of the ship, managed to satisfactorily fulfill the planned objectives.
