The Korea Fisheries Association (KFA) has signed a business agreement with the aquaculture company EcoAquaFarm. The two organizations entered into the agreement on July 23 in Gijang County, Busan, with the aim of spreading the value of Atlantic salmon and enhancing the quality assurance and consumer trust of clean K-salmon through the activation of the aquatic product traceability system (photos). After the signing ceremony, attendees moved to the EcoAquaFarm fish farm to tour the latest facilities, including the recirculating aquaculture system, advanced water treatment technology, and a smart control room based on information and communication technology (ICT), as well as to observe the farm's operational status. EcoAquaFarm is a company established as a subsidiary of GS Construction, focusing on sustainable aquaculture and eco-friendly technology.
