The launch of several projects for deep processing of oilseeds is planned in Kazakhstan in 2025

According to the results of the first four months of 2024/2025, domestic oil mills produced 56 thousand tons of refined sunflower oil, which is 17% more than the same period last season, the National Association of Oilseed Processors (NAPMC) reported to the APK News agency. The specialized association also noted an increase in the production of unrefined oil, so from September to December, the output of this product increased by more than 8 thousand tons, compared to last season and amounted to 161 thousand tons.
