The article outlines the EU's autonomous trade measures (ATM) aimed at restricting the import of specific agricultural products from Ukraine, such as oats, sugar, poultry, eggs, corn, honey, and groats, to safeguard EU markets. These measures are based on average export data from 2021 to 2023. The ATM limit for oats has already been surpassed, prompting the reintroduction of tariff quotas under the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) agreement. The European Commission has set a quota of 4,000 tons for oats, with imports beyond this limit subject to most favored nation (MFN) tariffs until the end of 2024.
