The meat processing plant under construction in Semey plans to export meat to Kuwait.

The company Eurasia Agro Semey, which is implementing a project to create a meat processing complex in Semey, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Kuwait's ALMARAI National Co. The document provides for the intentions of the parties to develop cooperation in the field of meat product supplies after the commissioning of the enterprise in August 2026. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to official data, the meat processing complex being built in Semey will become one of the largest in Kazakhstan with a processing capacity of 35 tons of meat per shift. In total, the enterprise is designed to process up to 11,400 tons of meat and meat products per year.
