The French mediation system in the agri-food chain plays a significant role in resolving disputes and strengthening trust between producers, processors, and distributors. This institution, established to balance positions in a sector where power imbalances between traders and farmers often lead to conflicts, has been affirmed as an important tool in the economic sustainability of agriculture.
