Retail prices for most dairy products in Ukraine have seen an increase over the past month, with the exception of kefir, Maasdam and Suluguni cheeses, according to the Association of Milk Producers. This price hike is attributed to the rise in raw milk prices and the limited supply of milk due to increased export activity. Additionally, the devaluation of the hryvnia and improved profitability of exchange goods have also contributed to the price increase. Data from Kantar agency shows a 2% increase in the share of drinkable yogurt consumers in Ukraine, while Ardis Group reports a decrease in the share of semi-hard cheeses in sales from 2019 to 2023. According to Your Total Market agency, drinking milk and yogurts are the most popular dairy products among Ukrainians in 2023.
