The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine is launching the eHemp electronic system on March 10, 2025, to improve agrarian policy, establish Ukraine as a leader in industrial hemp cultivation, and reduce corruption risks. The system will be accessible to legal entities involved in hemp cultivation, processing, and land management, and will integrate with state registers and systems. Registration in the system will simplify the process of growing hemp for industrial purposes, eliminating the need for licenses and quotas. The eHemp system is being implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Eastern Europe Foundation, with support from the Swiss government and the European Union project 'Institutional and Policy Reform of Small-Scale Agriculture in Ukraine'.
