According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, from the first day to the second day, as a low-pressure system from the northwest moves southward, snow is expected to fall in most regions across the country. Particularly, heavy and significant snowfall at the level of a heavy snow special warning is forecast, centered around Gangwon and the Jeolla regions. Gang Dong-yoon, the Rural Income and Energy Policy Director of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, urged, "To minimize damage caused by heavy snow, please conduct pre-checks on greenhouses and livestock facilities, such as reinforcing supports and braces, removing shading nets for ginseng, and checking the operation of heating devices, and take measures to prevent low temperatures inside the facilities for crops."
