The Department for Expertise of Agricultural Crops in Kyrgyz Republic signed 32 contracts with seed farms for the spring sowing of 2023, totaling 3707.7 tons of subsidized seeds. The subsidies included wheat seeds (1135.4 tons), barley seeds (2319 tons), corn seeds (30.9 tons), sainfoin seeds (30 tons), alfalfa seeds (7 tons), and cotton seeds (35.4 tons). So far, 1775.5 tons of subsidized seeds have been sold, amounting to 24.9 million soms, with the majority being barley seeds.
