Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin provided an update on the status of deep grain processing development in Kazakhstan, highlighting the progress of existing plants and new projects. The country currently operates three deep grain processing plants, with an annual production capacity of 455 thousand tons, and is set to expand capacity by 2028 through three new projects, creating over 1,400 jobs. These expansions will focus on the production of various grain products, with an emphasis on exports. The government is supporting these costly projects with significant investment subsidies and financial incentives, showing a strong commitment to the growth of the deep grain processing sector in Kazakhstan.
