The Ministry of Agriculture submits the regulation on ecological salt to prior public information.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has opened, through its website, the procedure for public audience and information for the drafting of a regulation that governs the production of ecological sea salt and other salts intended for food and animal feed. With this initiative, the ministry responds to the demand of the salt sector to have a specific regulation, as currently there is no detailed regulation at either European or national level for the production of ecological salt.
