The Ministry of Regional Development of Ukraine has developed proposals regarding the conditions for transshipment of hazardous substances in ports.

The Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine is taking a constructive position and remains engaged in the process of developing balanced decisions that combine security requirements, the needs of Ukrainian agrarians, and the stable operation of sea ports. This was stated by Deputy Minister Andrii Kashuba during a working trip to the ports of southern Ukraine, according to the press service of the Ministry of Development. The ministry noted that during the trip, special attention was paid to the security aspect of the transshipment of various types of cargo in the ports, including dangerous ones. As a reminder, a joint order by the Naval Command and the Odesa Regional State Administration had previously banned the transshipment, storage, and transportation of explosive substances, including ammonia, ammonium nitrate, and ammonia-containing substances, in the ports.
