The regional government has increased the 2025 budget for the agricultural insurance item by one million euros, as stated in the amendment to the Order that establishes the procedure for granting this aid, published this Friday in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM). “With this additional one million euros, we will be able to reduce the premiums for farmers affected by hail in the storms of May. The regional government will put more money into the aid so that they do not have to pay the increase that would result from declaring the claim,” said the Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries, Sara Rubira.
