The facilities of the Opaz cooperative in Villarrobledo (Albacete) hosted this Thursday the presentation of the National Strategic Plan for Saffron 2026-2030, which addresses the structural challenges of cultivation and seeks a more innovative, sustainable, and global sector. The plan addresses structural challenges of cultivation, such as the drop in national production, the lack of generational renewal, the need for technification, and the promotion of female employment. It proposes innovative solutions, combining tradition and modernity, with the aim of consolidating "a competitive and sustainable model for the future," the cooperative Opaz indicated in a press release.
