The Netherlands Enterprise Agency reports a 4.1% increase in milk supply over the first three months of 2023, similar to the trends of 2019 and 2020. This comes after a significant decrease in milk supply during the corona years, leading to record-high payout prices. Dairy product production also saw a 3% increase in February compared to the same month in the previous year, with a notable 27% increase in skimmed milk powder production. While cheese production rose by 3%, butter production decreased by 5%. Consumer milk product production, however, saw a slight decrease of 14 tons.
