The olive growers of the Antofagasta desert apply for the first Collective Quality Mark in Chile

In the coastal desert of the Antofagasta Region (Chile), olive growers belonging to the "El Hueso de Taltal" cooperative have submitted to the Chilean National Institute of Intellectual Property the application for a collective trademark for this oil. This is the first step to obtain one of the three Seals of Origin available in INAPI and one of the objectives of the Collaboration Agreement “Productive strategy of olive oil of differentiated quality for the El Hueso Taltal olive cooperative” which is executed by the Institute of Agricultural Research INIA Intihuasi and financially supported by Enel.
