At this time, in La Rioja and Catamarca, negotiations are underway for the olive harvest that is about to begin, and, for the moment, workers and employers have not reached an agreement. The negotiation, which has been dragging on since October 2025, took a new turn yesterday when the Regional Advisory Commission 13 -which corresponds to these two provinces- met in the Catamarca capital. The offer from the business sector, represented by CAME, was lower than previous proposals and was contested by UATRE, which argues that the economic reality in the sector requires a serious recomposition.
