The poultry meat market in Russia has increased slightly

Over the 11 months of last year, the volume of the poultry meat market in Russia increased by 0.2 percent or 8,700 tons from the same period in 2022 - to 4 million 207 thousand tons in slaughter weight. These data were provided by the analytical agency EMEAT. In particular, the production of these products increased by 0.1 percent to 4 million 355 thousand tons in slaughter weight and 5 million 925 thousand tons in live weight. Of the specific federal districts, the largest increase occurred in the North Caucasus - by 9.7 percent, followed by Siberia with 4.7, the Volga region with 1.2 and the Southern Federal with 1.1. At the same time, in the Urals production decreased by 5.3%, in the Far East - by 5.2, in the Central District - by 2.1, and in the North-West - by one and a half.
