The poultry meat market in Russia has seen a slight increase of 0.2 percent in volume, reaching 4 million 207 thousand tons in slaughter weight, according to EMEAT. This growth was primarily observed in the North Caucasus, Siberia, the Volga region, and the Southern Federal, while a decrease was noted in the Urals, the Far East, the Central District, and the North-West. Imports of poultry meat, largely from Brazil, rose by a quarter, and exports, mainly to China, Saudi Arabia, and Vietnam, increased by nine percent. Poultry meat exports now represent 55 percent of the total supply of Russian meat products.
