The Datagro Fattened Cattle Indicator shows a consistent rise in the price per hundredweight of fattened cattle in Mato Grosso do Sul, a state that continues to have the highest average price in the country. On Thursday (16), the price negotiated in the territory reached R$ 317.89, the highest level in the last five business days. Since last Friday (10), the price has been on the rise: starting at R$ 316.91, it reached the current number almost uninterruptedly, with the exception of Thursday (15), when it was R$ 0.60 lower than today. Thus, the average price per hundredweight for the period is indicated at R$ 317.40. Another state that stands out with higher values for fattened cattle is São Paulo, where the price per hundredweight closed at an average of R$ 309.37, also the highest value in the last five business days.
