The article reports on the increase in the purchase price of raw milk in Ukraine, with the average price of extra-grade milk reaching 19.70 UAH/kg excluding VAT, a rise of 65 kopecks from the previous month. The price of the highest and first-grade milk also increased. Despite the rising prices, the demand for raw milk and dairy products continues to exceed the supply. However, the decrease in butter prices in Europe and the possibility of a decrease in cheese prices due to subsidies and lower production costs could impact the dairy market. The Association of Milk Producers (AVM) anticipates that further increases in raw milk prices could lead to a decrease in the volume of exports of exchange-traded goods.
