Belarus is poised to boost its dairy industry by incorporating cutting-edge technologies to produce blue cheese and other dairy products, as announced by Yulia Guzkova, Deputy Head of the Meat and Dairy Industry Department. The country plans to increase its production of blue mold cheeses and introduce white surface mold cheeses, alongside undergoing technical re-equipment and modernization efforts. These efforts aim to produce high-value dairy products such as instant milk powder and small-portion butter packaging, with future plans to produce milk protein concentrate and expand whey protein concentrate production. Belarus's dairy sector, which exports to 59 countries and contributes to 40% of the country's agricultural exports, offers over 2,000 whole milk products, including approximately 480 types of cheese.
