A study conducted in fiscal year 2021 found that nearly all farmers who received training were able to apply their new skills to reduce costs and increase income. The farmers saw an increase in monthly income by 33%, from 7,045 baht to 9,396 baht, by selling various products. The farmers' groups also reported having more convenient network coordination for raw material procurement and knowledge exchange. However, the spread of COVID-19 has hindered the promotion and development of farmers' groups, with some activities being impossible to carry out due to gathering restrictions. The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives is planning to speed up the implementation of plans once the situation improves.
