Argentina's soybean production has seen a decrease in quality over the past decade, leading to a loss of 575 million dollars for the soy chain due to the fall in soy protein in the 20/21 campaign, according to a report by the Rosario Stock Exchange. The report highlights that Argentine soybeans do not meet international marketing standards for protein content, with only barely exceeding 36%, compared to 47/48% international standards. This lack of quality has led to the national industry mixing Argentine soybeans with 5 million tons of Paraguayan soybeans annually to meet protein standards.
