The quality of rice in the Krasnodar Krai (the main region—producer of this crop in the Russian Federation) this year is higher than it was a year ago, leading analyst of the National Rice Union (NRU) Valery Ladatko told "Agroinvestor." If in 2024 the yield of whole kernels in the groats averaged around 40%, varying from 30% to 45%, then this year this indicator is at the level of 55-60%.
